In this field we undertake designing of the Process Control Systems from specifying the task to the completion of the detailed design. We also perform professional activities in Instrumentation, Process Control, and Electrical Engineering..
Instrumentation design.
Our Instrumentation design comprises of the following:
- Preparation of Basic engineering documentation:
Based on the technological license provider’s requirements, in conjunction with technologists, civil, mechanical, electrical and other engineers, we determine the basic requirements for the instrumentation and control system. - Engineering documentation for Authorities’ Approval (E.g: documentation of BMS systems for approval by the Hungarian Trade Licensing Office)
- Preparation of Inquiry Documentation for instrumentation, control and electric systems, and equipment on the basis of basic design (P&I drawings, basic specifications, etc.)
- Technical evaluation of bids.
- Completion of ordering documentation.
- Completion of Detailed Design Engineering documentation.
- Sizing and detail engineering of the metering elements, for example: orifice plates, Venturi-tubes, etc.
- Detail engineering for fabrication and installation of control system equipment, such as Marshalling cabinets, Control Panels, Operator Consoles, and Local Control Panels etc.
- Preparation of “As built” documentation.
- Participation in Factory and/or Site Acceptance Tests (FAT, SAT) of control equipment, functional testing of control loops at site as well as in installation & commissioning activities upon request of our customers.
Diagrams are generally prepared with AutoCAD or E-Plan. Sizing of system components is performed with the use of software packages developed by the most recognised Vendors, such as Emerson (Fisher-Rosemount), Yokogawa, Honeywell, Masoneilan, etc. Design packages preferred by the Client can also be used upon special request.
Typical contents of our Detailed Engineering Documents for Instrumentation (complying with MOL Hungarian Oil & Gas Company’s requirements) are of the following. Plans may differ from one another depending on the plant as well as clients requirements.
